Kent sends us pics of their dogs and cats from shelters or who just wandered up and they started taking care of them. There have three Pitbull mixes and two Basset Hounds. The large brindel Pit you see in the picture was the runt of the litter; now she weighs 75 plus pounds and was raied from an emaciated pup by their female Basset Hound!

Scooter  Art and Scooter  Art and Scooter
Here is Art and Scooter, who came from a friend of Art's stepson. His living with them was in a terrible, uncaring environment. When Art heard they were moving and couldn't take Scooter where they were going and were going to drop him off at the animal shelter just to get rid of him, he begged and got him! He is 2 1/2 years old and full-blooded but they 'lost' his papers in the moving to the new place. This dog is exactly like a small child; the ultimate house pet if ever there was one! He's Art's heart string and only 'child'. They take care of each other. He has his own little mannerisms that are just priceless to see! If he wants a treat, he will do things to get attention then back up, sit down and stare at you... then the mantle where the treats are... then back at you. If that fails to get a treat, he will jump into Art's lap and lick his face when he gets the chance. He LOVES to ride in the Jeep!! Scooter is Art's pal and best friend.

Tator  Bubbles
Waldo  Tator, Bubbles, and Waldo
Here are Jennifer's cats: the orange and white one is Tator Tot (“Tator”) and the orange one is Tator's sister, Bubbles. She found both of them at Sonic playing under a diesel truck. The black one is Waldo (“DooDoo” for short). When Jennifer was working for ABC Auto, one of the drivers found him on the side of the road all beat up. Nnone of the other employees wanted to take him home so she took him to join her family!

Buster  Buster
Madison
These are Lauren's spoiled rotten babies. The 1st picture is Buster, who is 3, with his “love” Audrey, a black mouse. The second picture is also him. The 3rd picture is their old girl, Madison, who's turning 8. She's just lazy but a HUGE lover!

Bobo  Trixie
Here are Catherine's babies. The boy is Catherine's and his name is Bobo. The girl is her husbands and her name is Trixie!

Missy Moo  Missy Moo
Here are photo's Sandy took of her Boston Terrier, Missy Moo, who is 6-years-old. Photo #1 was done in the Fall and photo #2 was taken for St. Patrick's Day. She is Sandy's pride and joy. She was diagnosed with cancer in January 2007 but is doing well with the Grace of God.

Lily  Lily
Lily  Lily
This is April and Sean's 5-month-year old Mini Dachshund, Lady Lillian (“Lilly”). Sean got her for April this past Christmas!

Angel  Chloe  Hurley  Hurricane Animals  Hurricane Animals
From Cheryl, here is Angel, Chloe, Hurley/Satan (cat), Kelly, Peaches and Horatio! These are her miracle animals from Hurricane Katrina, plus a couple new additions. Amazingly enough, they all survived the storm... losing one of them would have been worse than loosing everything they owned!

  Bruiser
Amie's mother has a 5-year-old Great Dane weighing in around 168 lbs. Coincidentally, her name is Teensy! She is the smartest dog Amie has ever seen, and the biggest baby. The other little man is a 5-month-old Boxer named Bruiser. He is a blessing! They got him 2 days after their first Boxer, Jasmine got hit by a car when she was 7 months. She was a beauty and is missed sooo much. Bruiser has a lot of her ways in him and he keeps everyone laughing.

Lexus  Buddy  Sadie
Sadie is a 4-year-old Jack Russell that was given to Savanha by good friends. She was the runt of the litter and now she outweighs any of her siblings! She weights 14 pounds and is the boss of the house. She loves her squeeky toys and sleeping!

Buddy is the 2nd addition to the family. Savanha worked at a animal hospital when a man brought him in. He said he was moving and didn't have room for Buddy, and then walked out! So they kept him in the kennel to see if someone would adopt him. After playing with him Savanha noticed he had a leg that wouldn't bend, but he didn't let it bother him. Jumping in the truck is no hard task for him! Everytime the vet was ready to give him to the humane society, Savanha would talk him into keeping him because he was so playful and happy. After a couple of weeks of working on her parents about bringing him home, she finally got him and he loves it!

Lexus was their 3rd addition. Savanha's mother works at a factory in a nearby town and a co-worker was telling her about this dog she paid $700 for and the dog hated her; she couldn't house train her, the dog hid from her so she couldn't put her up when she left, she would make big messes, and list goes on. The lady was single and didn't spend time with her. Savanha's mom kept telling her that they couldn't pay her that much but we would take her if she got rid of her. After a week of my mom telling her about this dog, she called Savanha at work one day and said to meet this lady because she was going to let them have her. So she picked her up, brought her home, and she is now house trained, loves to play, can do tricks, and LOVES to go camping.

Nala  Simba
Here are Laura's “babies”. Nala is her little princess (brown and white with pink collar) and Simba (Orange Tabby with red collar) is a handful of mischief!

Bo
Bo  Bo
This is Bocephus, “Bo”, from Forney, Texas. He is 9-months-old and loves his clothes!! He will actually go get them and bring them to Amanda to help him get them on!

Princess Shelbi  rincess Shelbi
rincess Shelbi  Ezra
These come from Kimberly in Arlington, TX. First is a WONDERFUL little spicey 6-year-old Miniature Pinscher named “Princess Shelbi”. Kimberly adopated her from minpin rescue and she is the cutest little girl ever! Shelbi was in rescue because she was too much personality for her original owners and they couldn't figure out how to house-break her. Kimberly brought Shelbi home and Shelbi started using the litter box with the kitties! She is MISS THANG! Kimberly is so glad she's a part of her life - she will definitely be adopting her next dog from rescue!

She also fosters for Lucky-Dog Rescue in Arlington too. They had a foster that was SO cute and looked just like Delilah! Her name was Ezzie (like Ezra, only shorter)... she was AWESOME!

RESCUE DOGS ROCK!!!

DJ  DJ
This is DJ, who belongs to William and Mary. He is so spoiled! In July of 2005, William was out working and saw this little guy. He was abused by his owners, you could see his ribs, etc. William asked if he could have him and they said yes... since then, this little man gets anything he wants! He sleeps with Mary and William every night and when they come home from the store, he goes through all the bags sniffing for a treat because he knows he will always have something!
